Speciality shochu "Yamaya Distillery"

Tsuma Shrine, located in the Saitobaru Kofun Group in Miyazaki Prefecture, is dedicated to Princess Konohanasakuya, the wife of Amaterasu Omikami's grandson. Legend has it that she did not have enough breast milk to raise her three children, so she gave them amazake (sweet sake) instead of breast milk, and the shrine is also known as the birthplace of sake.This is a special shochu made by Yamaya Distillery, which has been in business since the early Meiji period, using groundwater called Shimizukane.

The finest shochu made from the bounty of the earth and the products of nature.

Masaharu Sake Brewery was founded approximately 150 years ago in Saito City, Miyazaki Prefecture, which is also known as the birthplace of sake.This is a special shochu that has been handed down since the early Meiji period, using mineral-rich groundwater called "Shimizukane" that springs from the underground of Miyazaki, where much of the natural environment remains, and the king of shochu sweet potatoes, "Kogane Senkan."

Yamaya's Sea Bream Rice Set

Yamaya's "Mentaiko" and Matsuyama's "Taimeshi" are teamed up to make the "Mentaimeshi Gozen" which is only available at our restaurant among all Yamaya restaurants nationwide. Fresh Matsuyama sea bream, Yamaya's mentaiko and special sesame sauce. The final dish is topped with our signature dashi broth, which is sure to leave you feeling satisfied. This dish also comes with all-you-can-eat mentaiko and takana rice, so please enjoy Yamaya's special taimeshi.
